Electronic Art Unveils Battlefront 2, A November 17th Release Date

Anyone that knows me well will tell you that I'm the biggest Star Wars geek on the planet. I've repeatedly seen every Star Wars made movie and cartoon series. When the franchise makes its way to video games the excitement generated is on another level. Star Wars Battlefront 1, created by Electronic Art was a pretty decent game. It had gorgeous game play graphics with action packed gameplay, being a multiplayer game only was the game only drawback and was heavily criticized. I don't know about you but games such as Battlefront 2 before engaging in multiplayer mode, I like the get a good feel of the game by first playing it on single player campaign mode.

Seems as though Electronic Art took criticism very seriously because Battlefront 2 will now have a full single player campaign.

In the video trailer that's posted below this passage we see a new character being introduced: Iden Versio. Iden, a female character is a imperial commander of the Inferno Squad. While on the the surface of planet Endor she witnesses the destruction of the Death Star, this is the events from Return of the Jedi, that whole same events but different story line thing.  What's so unique about Battlefront 2 is you get to engage in the game from a villain perspective and as a  good guy. You have a choice to play both sides throughout the single player campaign, You actually get to take on the role of well known characters that will include Kylo Ren, Luke Skywalker and much more, how cool is that.

Also included in the single player mode, Battlefront 2 will extend gameplay between Tie-Fighters and X-Wing fighters in a natural arena that will take place in space. Both in single and multi-player campaigns up to 24 players can fight vying for space turf. The multiplayer gameplay will spread  throughout all the Star Wars trilogies, from the Clone Wars prequels to the original and new trilogy.

Star Wars Battlefront 2 is set to be launch on November 17th, it will be release on all major platforms that will include the consoles, Playstation 4, Xbox One and the PC.
