Kingston's KC3000 SDD Joins The PCIe 4.0 Interface

Kingston's KC3000 SDD Joins The PCIe 4.0 Interface

PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSD'sare no longer a dime a dozen; they're now plentiful as many SSD's make the transition to the new-gen interface. The latest PCIe 4.0 NVMe that has gained traction is Kinston KC3000 1.3 SSD, storage capacities available from 512GB to 4GB having a decent amount of RAM cache.

The sizable amount of cache's primary purpose is to prevent system users from experiencing write drops from over 5GB/s down to 1.5GB/s. Overwritten data can degrade overall performance due to thermal throttling, which can cause the drive to run very hotly. Preventive measures are proper airflow in your PC case.

The Kingston KC3000 is constructed using the Phison E18 controller and Micron's 176-layer TLC NAND flash; for an in-depth review of the drive's performance, head over to PC Mag.

Kingston KC3000 PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSD is now readily available for purchase on Amazon.
