Asus has recently unveiled their new ROG Phone 5 smartphone, and I must say, the company once again did not disappoint regarding hardware and features. Some will say the Asus ROG Phone 5 is features overkill. But we'll leave the opinions to the tech reviewers because the ROG Phone 5 has impeccable hardware. The sole purpose of this particular smartphone is to achieve optimal mobile gaming performance.

The Chipset and Processor
The Asus ROG Phone 5 is an Android flagship smartphone. So it should not come as a surprise that it's rocking the latest Qualcomm SM8350 Snapdragon 888 5nm chipset. On the Memory and Storage front

There are three main cameras, featuring 64MP, f/1.8, 26mm wide lens, 13MP f/2.4 ultrawide, and 5MP f/2.0 macro. Even more impressive, this gaming smartphone can capture video in 8K at 30fps, 4K at 30/ 60/ 120fps with gyro-EIS ( electronic image stabilization).

The super high refresh rate display
The ROG Phone 5 smartphone has an AMOLED display with a remarkably high refresh rate at 144 Hz, peaking out at 1200 nits. Pixel resolution comes in at 2448 x 1080 ( 395 PPI density). To sum it all up, what we have here is possibly one of the best displays on a smartphone in the consumer market.
