Leaks and Rumros’: The Radeon RX 6600 XT Specs Resurface On The Web

The Navi 23 has been a subject to rampant rumors for the past couple of weeks, so it is no surprise that the latest least leaks and rumors gained some traction. Details of the leak include the Navi 23 powering the Radeon RX 6600 XT, Radeon RX 6600, and even the Radeon RX 6500 graphics cards. Adding more buzz, AMD has a Navi 24 GPU in production, code name Beige Goby.

The leak reveals a rectangular-shaped 45-degrees rotating die; approximate measurements are 235.76mm in a 35 x35mm package.

The desktop format offers three TGP levels at 9W, 80W, and 65W. AMD will also plan to produce a mobile version, and the laptop will then decide which designations to support in each model. The upcoming graphics cards will support the new generation PCIe 4.0 under AMD's second-generation Radeon DNA (RDNA 2).

Images of memory configuration are posted above this paragraph. It shows the Navi 23 fully supporting up to 16GB of memory, which means it would most likely use 16 Gbps modules or 2GB. Will it connect eight 2GB modules to a 128-bit memory bus? Likely not. It will probably be 8GB GDDR6 memory on a 128-bit bus for the Radeon 6600 XT graphics card.

There are even detailed specifications on the Radeon RX 6600 XT graphics card, featuring 32 compute units, 2,048 stream processors, 128 texture mapping units, 32 render output units, up to a 2,700MHz boost clock, 8GB of GDDR6 memory bus tied directly to a 128-bit memory bus for a 256GB/s of memory bandwidth, and 64MB of infinity cache.

The non-XT variant, the Radeon RX 6600, will contain 28 compute units, 1,792 stream processors, 112 texture mapping units, 32 render output units and a 2,600MHz boost clock with the same memory.

Remember, these are all speculative rumors. As time moves on, we should expect an announcement from AMD.
