Apple launches a MagSafe Battery pack for the iPhone 12 Product line
News flash, Apple has just launched its new MagSafe Battery Pack for their current-gen smartphone, the iPhone 12, all the iPhone 12 variations, that is.
In the past, Apple has released battery packs for iPhone 11 users, which had a physical camera shortcut button. However, this particular battery pack is different as it magnetically attaches to the iPhone 12, minus any added accessories. Thus, having just one function only, and this to charge your device. In addition, it will function with the entire iPhone 12 product line; iPhone 12, iPhone 12 Mini, iPhone 12 Pro, and iPhone 12 Pro Max.
According to Apple, the battery pack will charge up to 5W of power. However, though the battery pack supports Qi wireless charging, 5W of power will not rapidly charge a iPhone. Additionally, Apple states the battery requires an iOS 14.7 software update currently unavailable for download via the support page.
One battery will cost $99; you can place your order right now, delivery dates are between July 22nd and July 26th.
