Let's talk about the one feature in iOS 16 that has everyone buzzing; the Continuity Camera

Apple has just officially released the iOS 16 beta edition, giving iPhone users an in-depth look at all the features in the new mobile OS. As an Android user (6 years and counting), I'm rather impressed with some of the features that iOS 16 offers, such as Unsent Messaging, which allows you to edit iMessage. And the eye-catching Lock Screen customization will enable users to place widgets on the lock screen, implement different wallpapers, and do text/ color customization.

But the most impressive feature of all is the Continuity Camera, which lets you morph your iPhone into a webcam. First, of course, you'll need an Apple-provided Belkin mount ( which they will sell later this year) that lets you clip your iPhone on top of your MacBook. Then, while on FaceTime calls from your laptop, the iPhone camera will function in portrait, center stage, and studio light. This additional feature brightens your face and darkens the background behind the subject. The iPhone camera can also be used on other macOS apps, such as Zoom.

Even more impressive is that users can adjust the smartphone, and your camera can now provide a desk view using the wide-angle lens. Perfect for teachers who want to demonstrate a math equation on cam. How is it possible to have a birdseye view of the entire desk? Unique, to say the least.

The Continuity Camera feature, along with the Belkin mount, is expected to be available later this year.
