ASRock Launches an all White Radeon RX 7900 XT Phantom GPU
The only time I've ever seen an all-white graphics card in an actual system is when builders match it with their all-white PC. Yes, matching color schemes is a big deal with some PC enthusiasts. Nonetheless, all-white color schemes on the GPUs are appealing to the eyes.
What ASRock is launching is appealing to PC builders who love all-white color schemes, with a new AMD Radeon RX 7900 XT Phantom Gaming White 20GB OC scheduled to hit the market in the coming months.
In addition to the all-white color scheme, the ASRock Radeon RX 7900 XT Phantom is a potent graphic card with 20GB of VRAM. The overclocked version has a boost clock of 2.45 MHz, with a frequency clock of 2.75 MHz. Even the backplate is all white, along with the triple-fan cooler and a heatsink.
The reviews of the Radeon RX 7900XT were quite negative at launch, mainly because of its expensive $899 MSRP and lower-than-expected performance. Since its inception to the market, the standard all-black variant ASRock Radeon RX 7900 XT Phantom Gaming 20 GB has been selling for less than $700. For some reason, hardware with all-white color schemes, explicitly GPUs, has a high price point. So, I expect the all-white RX 7900 XT Phantom to be higher than the original MSRP.
