LG launches it's new 2024 OLED monitors offering 240Hz refresh rate, pre-orders are now available

LG is launching a slew of high-end OLED monitors in 2024, made explicitly for gaming. Each monitor will have a high 240Hz refresh rate. Display sizes will range from the most diminutive, 32 inches, to the largest model, 45 inches. It's worth noting that these monitors are pricey and made specifically for content creators and gamers with deep pockets. We'll examine the price for each monitor later in this post.

The  32-inch Ultra Gear 32GS94UE-B is the most intriguing monitor in LG’s new product line. It features dual refresh rates: 4K resolution(3840 x 2160) and a 240Hz refresh rate. You can decrease the resolution to 1080p, doubling the refresh rate to 480Hz.

With the other monitors in the lineup, LG empowers gamers with the option to adjust the resolution, offering a unique blend of rapid refresh rates and high-resolution gaming. This versatility ensures that you can tailor your gaming experience to your preferences, whether you're in the mood for lightning-fast action or immersive, visually stunning role-playing games.

LG’s 32GS95UE is the world's first VESA Certified Dual Mode gaming monitor. This innovative feature empowers users to instantly optimize their gaming experience by adjusting the screen resolution and refresh rate to match the game genre. The monitor offers an unprecedented FHD at 480Hz for high-action titles and shooting games, while visually immersive story-driven games can be enjoyed in 4K at 240Hz. This gaming innovation is a game-changer designed to take your gaming experience to the next level.

As we delve deeper into the monitor’s specs, it also features 98.5% coverage of the DCI-P3 color gamut, DisplayHDR TrueBlack 400 certification, a 1,500,000.1 contrast ratio, support for both FreeSync (Premium Pro) and G-Sync.

About the price, the 32-inch UltraGear 32GA94UE-B is available to preorder for $1.399.99.

As mentioned earlier in the post, LG has unveiled several monitors, the rest of which have curved displays with 3440 x 1440 (WQHD) resolution and the same 240Hz refresh rate. The top-end model is the largest of all displays, measuring 45 inches. Next, we have the 39-inch UltraGear 39GS95QE-B and the 34-inch UltraGear 34GS95QE-B.

Despite varying sizes and price points, each model has the same specs and features; all four models feature FreeSync Premium with G-Sync compatibility, VESA DisplayHDR True Black 400 certification, a 1,500,000.1 contrast ratio, and support for both FreeSync ( Premium Pro) and G-Sync.

As I stated earlier, these monitors are costly. The 45-inch UltraGear 45GS95QE-B retails for $1699.99, the 39-inch UltraGear 39GS95QE-B model for $1499.99, and the 34-inch UltraGear 34GS95QE-B for $1299.99. Pre-orders are available on LG's website.
