The latest newsworthy leak pertains to Intel's upcoming Arrow Lake lineup of desktop CPUs. The leaked information reveals these CPUs are scheduled to launch on October 10th.
Intel has announced a new lineup of processors, including the Core Ultra 9, Ultra 7, and Ultra 5 models with varying power levels. These models comprise 125W 'K' CPUs, 65W chips, and 35W 'T' variants. The Arrow Lake processors will incorporate Lion Cove P-cores and Sky mount E-cores, raising questions about Intel's choice between its 20A process and TSMC's 3mm process for chip production.
The recent leaks reveal critical specifications for the Core Ultra 9 285K, including eight performance cores, 16 efficiency cores, a 3.7GHz base clock frequency, 5GHz boost clock frequency, and a 125W TDP, as well as an integrated GPU with 64 execution units. The mid-level option, Core Ultra 7 265K, features 8, 12 E cores, a 3.9GHz base clock frequency, 5.2GHz boost clock frequency, 125W TDP, and an integrated GPU with 64 execution units. Lastly, the Core Ultra 5 254K offers a 4.2GHz frequency, a 5.2GHz boost clock frequency, a 125W TDP, and an integrated GPU with 64 execution units.
