It's been awhile since I've posted a Xmas gift guide on this site. In case you're new to the Tekspecz experience, the main theme is to recommend gadgets (PC's included) that is currently in consumer demand and would make the perfect gift for love ones. Lets add a twist to this year's Xmas guide by recommending items I personally own that was well worth the money spent.
First up we have....
Google Home
As prices drop it seems digital home assistants are starting to become high in demand. Amazon's Echo and Google Home currently dominant the personal assistant market. For me personally, Google Home is probably one of the best gadgets I've ever purchased to date. It's been sitting on my desk for a better part of a year now. What can Google Home do? Upon your command just utter these two words "Hey Google" after that you can command it to give sports scores, the weather report, do a Google search and much more. Need to add humor to your day, Home can also tell you a joke or two.
Anker 20000mAh Portable Charge PowerCore 2010
There was a time a portable battery wasn't necessary need. When you're out and about and your battery level nears 0%, searching for a power source so you can up the battery levels on your smartphone can be a daunting task. To remedy this problem I went on and purchased the Anker 20000mAh charger. There's enough juice in this battery pack to power up an entire laptop. It also comes with PoweQi quick charge technology which is equally impressive and for me the biggest selling point.
Wolfenstein II
Arguably the best first person shooting game of the year, period. Its everything you want in a great game, beautiful graphics, impeccable game play, great story line. In short, the theme of the game is simple, exterminate Nazis who has evaded America. I mean who wouldn't be excited over a game where you get to off members of the third Reich.
Paww Over-Ear Headphones
It seems as though every year I purchase headphones, most I buy are in-ear buds. This year was no exception, I purchased another pair headphones only this time I went with the over-ear wireless headphones that didn't break the wallet. That headphone is the Paww Bluetooth wireless which I purchased from Amazon. Aside from the price being consumer friendly, the Paww wireless headphones for me are perfect in terms of design and ear comfort, also outputs decent sound.
Logitech MX Master Wireless Mouse
Wireless mouse are plentiful on market. In fact there are a bevy of wireless mouses that is decent in performance yet reasonable in price. That's why you can't go wrong with the Logitech MX Master mouse. An highly precise sensor that sports a very distinctive scroll wheel and thumb scroll wheel. The mouse consistently performs well, I didn't experience any drops in wireless signal and the cursor moves across the display fluidly fast.
Phasma (Star Wars): Journey To The Last Jedi
Its rare that I would even think about recommending a book in a gift giving guide, this is a Star Wars novel and my core readers are tech savvy I'm sure they wouldn't mind reading a good sci-fi novel. Phasma Star Wars which is a great read, you get to actually read about Phasmas past leading right up the events of The Last Jedi.
AMD Ryzen 5 1600 Processor
AMD basically undercuts the competition (Intel) with their current lineup of Ryzen processors with it being so reasonably priced. Reasonable in price yes, but performance on each Ryzen processor rivals whatever Intel have to offer. The Ryzen 5, which is what I currently have in one of my PC builds is no slouch, its rocking 6 processing cores and 12-threads, making for a smooth multitasking and gaming experience.
