Razer introduces THX Spatial audio app for all headphones
Pretty impressive what Razer has going on in the audio department. Today the company has announced an update that will now offer virtual 7.1 surround sound—expanding number of supported products. Now there has always been a surround app for any users, which lets users productively adjust headset settings.
What so amazing about this app it doesn't matter what type of input, nor do it matter if you connect via analog 3.5mm headsets, USB, or Bluetooth; the app will allow any user to upgrade to any audio experience. The app itself offers THX tuned presets, or you can even modify, create, and store EQ and positional audio settings.
In-depth, the app enables you to set up various presets on each game and application, which can be tweaked separately that matches users' preferences. The presets itself let the user engage in the game right away. If you head over to Razer's website, there's a trial version on the webpage, giving users the option to try out the software. If you want to install the app on your system entirely, it will cost you $19.99 or $9.99 to upgrade from the existing app.
I never care for third party audio apps, but what Razer is offering could prove beneficial if you want that enhance 7.1 surround sound audio during gaming.
