I recently purchased the oddest, weirdest gadget imaginable. It's Keysmart's CleanKey. First, let me give you a brief synopsis on this gadget.

The CleanKey made by a reputable company name Keysmart who make these key holders to which I purchased, and so did many other gadget enthusiasts. The CleanKey has an odd ergonomic design whose primary intent is for you to avoid direct contact with high-touch surfaces such as public doors, store checkout, and share buttons. It also comes in handy if you don't want to touch those germy ATM keypads. It's a hand sanitizing tool without the liquid.

Both the key holder and CleanKey are made by Keysmart.

So now that I've given you a summary on the CleanKey, is the device even practical? I say yes, but there are some minor issues. First off, the CleanKey solidly constructed out of copper alloy and is very easy to carry around. It comes with a FREE retractable carabiner, which makes it easily accessible when needed.

The CleanKey does function as advertised. You can use it to open particular doors, avoid those unsanitary keypads at your local stores and banks. Now when using on Touchscreens, I did run into some problems. A common mistake made is using the tip of the CleanKey on the touchscreen. The proper way to use it is to make full contact with the entire flat surface edge of the CleaKey, which proven to be effective.

The minor issues I have with CleanKey is size; it is much bigger than the average size key and can take up a lot of space in your pockets, especially if you carry a lot of keys. It can take some getting used to when holding Cleankey in your hands. Again, just a minor issue.

All in all, CleanKey is a buy. Those germaphobes who still freaked out about the current pandemic we're experiencing would love this tool. You do avoid touching anything publicly used. A word of advice, after usage, wipe it down with the liquid sanitary solution.

Head over to the KeySmart website, and from there, place your order. It retails for $24.99
