It seems as if every year refresh rate with gaming monitors are posting some astronomical numbers. In 2020 it’s no different as the refresh rate is even more insane, as Acer launches their new Predator X25 gaming monitor, measuring 25-inches diagonally, with a mind-blowing 360Hz refresh rate.

I can't say enough how a monitor with 360Hz refresh is insane, damn right overkill, considering many high-level gamers will find 240Hz and 144Hz monitors sufficient. But the eSport players who are looking to gain the proverbial competitive edge could be the consumer base Acer is targeting.

Additional features in the Predator X25 include 1080p resolution and NVIDIA G-Sync support onboard and Adaptive Light Technology, which, if you don't know, is an ambient light sensor that automatically adjusts brightness levels and color temperature. Acer also includes LightSense, ColorSense, and ProxiSense technologies, making adjustments to brightness/color settings, which reduces eye fatigue during long periods of gameplay.

Acer states that the Predator X25 will make its market appearance in the U.S. this November retailing at a very pricey $1,100.

If a 25-inch monitor is to small for your gaming needs, Acer has you covered by also launching the Predator XB323QK NV; it measures at 31.5-inch and has a 4K 3840 x 2160 resolution. The monitor boasts a 240Hz refresh rate, features a DisplayHDR 400 support, and a 0.5ms gray to gray response time. Nvidia G-Sync is also present along with AdaptiveLight technology.

Acer also launching a 27-inch (Xb273u) and a 24.5-inch (xb253q g2) models. The Predator XB3 series will launch in the U.S in September with prices starting at $429
