The Fractal Design New Define 7 PC case is really compact
As the title of this post goes, the Fractal Design Define 7 Compact is a small PC case and is very compact. The full dimensions of the go as follows; 16.8 x 8.3 x 18.7, but what stands out with this particular chassis is how much room it has inside. It's more than capable of housing a full ATX motherboard, CPU cooler of up to 169mm, and even a full-size graphics card up to 360mm (14.17-inch). For option air coolers, you can install seven 120mm fans, or four 140mm and a pair of 120mm fans.
The overall case, specifically the front and backside, is constructed out of brushed aluminum, incorporated with plenty of sound dampening material, which is signature Fractal. Potential users have the option to install two separate filters, a full-length bottom filter that slides directly out of the machine. The entire top panel is a removable simplifying component installation.
On the top of the case, you'll find five USB ports and USB 3.1 GEN 2 Type-C with a fast charging support feature and the usually placed audio I/O, power, and reset buttons. Inside the case, you'll find two 3.5"/2.5" drive brackets in the front as well as a pair of 2.5" drive brackets that any users can install in four different positions. The case offers a bevy of expansion slots totaling seven. Missing is a 5.25" drive slot.
