Walmart leaks Sony's new WH-1000XM4 headphones
We have a significant product leak that has come on the scene, and it comes in the form of Sony's WH-1000XM4 headphones. The successor to the ever-popular and highly regarded WH-1000XM3's. What's so crazy is of all retail outlets, Walmart is the one who leaked the product on its online shopping portal.
The asking price for the WHH-1000XM4 will be the same as the current generation variants, $348. Now in regards to the design, the new model will resemble closely to its predecessor. But there will be added new features as expected.
Sony's 1000XM4's will offer users the ability to connect two Bluetooth devices at the same time. Sony calls this new feature, multi point connection. In the full description in a Sony quote, "When a call comes in, your headphone knows which device is ringing and will automatically connect to the right one. You'll also be able to quickly and smoothly switch your headphones to either of the two devices at the touch of a button."
How the Smart Talking technology function is it will allow the headphones to identify when someone is talking to you, or when you're on mass transit and need to hear train stops announced. Ambient Sound Mode can be activated automatically in each scenario. There will also be Precise Voice Pickup Technology, which will use the five onboard microphones, improving overall voice quality when users are speaking on hands-free phone calls. Other upgrades include the Sony Digital Enhancement Engine (DSEE Extreme), which enhances compressed digital music.
What's more important, if anything is battery life, Sony promises runtime of up to 30 hours, same as the last generation model.
