Nvidia Launches CMP HX GPU's Made Explicitly For Crypto Mining

NVIDIA will soon launch their budget graphics card, the RTX 3060; the official date will be February 25th.
So the question that needs answering is, given the retail price at $329, will budget gamers obtain the GeForce RTX 3060? We've seen how other RTX 30 variants would sell out in stores faster than a roaming cheetah. The worries are indeed understanding. Well, Nvidia may have solved the plaguing issue of high consumer demand by ensuring the GeForce RTX 3060 falls into PC enthusiast’s hands and not opportunistic crypto miners.
Nvidia's big plan is to alter drivers for the GeForce RTX 3060, which will "detect specific attributes of the Ethereum cryptocurrency mining algorithm" if any mining is attempted with the graphics card. If the driver detects specific patterns utilized, the software will automatically minimize the hash rate by 50 percent, preventing the card from mining.
The graphics card's branding name will fall under the GeForce RTX 3060 Ti in Nvidia's Ampere lineup. Retailing for $329, a $70 reduction in price from its higher-end variants.
What's unique about these graphics cards is that it minuses display ports and will only include components needed to perform a single task, which is to mine cryptocurrency rapidly and efficiently—made possible by lower peak core voltages and frequency. As a bonus, NVIDIA's Crypto Mining Processor will be allowed to generate revenue from GPU.
Nvidia states the graphics cards will be available from the following partners; Asus, Colorful, EVGA, Gigabyte, MSI, and Palit. Market availability should take place in late March.
