The Alienware m17 may well be my next Windows laptop
Admittedly, the most powerful laptop I've ever owned came in the form of a MacBook. Not to say that I never purchased a Windows laptop, I have. But they were mid-tier variants used for mundane tasks such as web surfing and content viewing. With that said, I came across what I considered to be one the most powerful laptop on the market, Alienware m17 R4. Powerful, yes, but it has an excellent sleek design which is why I may consider purchasing the laptop in the near future.
What makes the Alienware m17 R4 gaming laptop worthy of purchase? Let's go over the features, specs, and design.
The Appealing Design
The Alienware m17 R4 exact measurements are 15.74" x 11.58", weighing 6.6pounds, which is a bit heavy for a laptop. It does have a nice compact build from my observation, giving the appearance that it's thin. The gaming laptop comes in two color schemes, "lunar light ( white) and" dark side of the moon " (BLACK). Notice the naming referencing to the moon, brilliant on Dell's part.
Then there's the RGB lighting, which the M17 R has, plentiful on this gaming laptop. The keyboard has four-zone RGB and customizable lights on the rear edge and in the Alienware logo on the back of the laptop's lid.
.Overall, in describing the Alienware M17 R4 design, one word, "futuristic." The gaming laptop is akin to Star Wars Imperial Star Destroyer.
At the end of the day, it’s all about the hardware
The design of any device is what always catches the eye of most consumers. It's why many are drawn to Apple products. When it comes to gaming systems, explicitly laptops, the design isn't the main selling point; it's all about impeccable hardware needed to run visually stunning gaming titles. The Alienware m17 R4 packs heavy-duty hardware, starting with the latest Nvidia RTX 3080 GPU, an Intel Core i9-10980HK processor, and 32GB RAM. The gaming laptop features dual storage drives, including a 2TB RAID 0 PCIe SSD for dramatically rapid performance and a 512GB SSD.

With the Alienware m17 R4, the most attractive and useful feature is the cryo-tech solution. This technology is the primary reason why the company can include a full version of RTX 3080 GPU rather than Max-Q variants found in some thinner laptops—pushing the boundaries in performance while temperature settings are within a stable range.
The most important standout feature is cryo-tech cooling

With the Alienware m17 R4, the most attractive and useful feature is the cryo-tech solution. To purchase or not to purchase
The Alienware m17 A4 is quite possibly the fastest laptop on the market. Or at least one of the fastest. Two factors will influence my decision if I plan on purchasing this laptop. It has a beautiful yet minimalist design. Encasing very impressive hardware, you'll find in most top-end gaming desktop. The $3,000 price tag for the top-end variant would likely cause me to choose the low-end model which is a $1,000 less. Still having impressive hardware. I will most certainly update you readers once I make the purchase and follow up with an review.
