Samsung Unveils The New 49-inch Odyssey Neo G9 QLED 240Hz Ultra Wide Gaming Monitor
It seems like every time you turn around; some company is unveiling the biggest, the brightest, the fastest monitor in regards to high refresh rate. The latest is Samsung, launching their new Odyssey Neo G9 49-inch monitor, which, judging by the images and spec numbers, is pretty impressive.
Having multiple displays is starting to become obsolete. Why have two when you can have just one big display and not have to contend with a mess of cables? In this case, the Odyssey G9 is a whopping 49-inches. Size is not the only impressive thing about this display; it features a 5,120 x 1440 resolution, 1ms response time, and 240Hz refresh rate, making for an immersive gaming experience.
Speaking of gaming experience, the gaming monitor itself is compatible with AMD FreeSync Premium Pro and NVIDIA's G-Sync, thwarting any screen tearing and stuttering. The Neo G9 gaming monitor will have 420 nits and a 2000 nits peak brightness, standard numbers with upper-tier gaming monitors. The selling point with me ( you know me and my selling points) is the HDR2000 certification.
In the back of the gaming monitor, you have the headphone jack, two HDMI 2.1 ports, one DisplayPort 1.4, and Two USB ports which can serve as an outlet for the keyboard and other peripherals.
The Neo G9 overall is indeed an impressive gaming monitor that comes with a hefty price tag of $2,499. So if you have deep pockets and got to have this remarkable piece of gaming technology, pre-orders start on August 29th.
Before I conclude this post, I want to add the Neo G9 49-inch gaming monitor that will use a Quantum MiniLED technology
