The M2 13-inch MacBook Pro Will Be Up For Preorder on June 17th

Last week Apple revealed their next-generation flagship processor, the M2 chip. This week, Apple has announced they will begin taking consumer orders for the 13-inch MacBook Pro M2 on June 17th, which is a few days from now. Consumers will receive their orders starting on June 24th. The new entry system starts at $1,299, including 8GB RAM and a 256GB SSD.

The new 13-inch MacBook Pro is an expected performance upgrade because it has a fast processor. Regarding design, everything remains the same; you still have a Touch Bar and two Thunderbolt/ USB ports 4. You also will get 20 hours of battery life. In all, the significant change is the processor.

The M2 chip will also be featured in the new MacBook Air, which was revealed last week at WWDC 2022—praised for its unique design. This model does not have a cooling fan since this is an ultra-thin laptop. Instead, it has a larger screen and Magsafe power connecting technology. The 13-inch MacBook M2 Pro will probably be the preferred choice for power users.
