Let's talk about how the A16 GPU outperforms the A15 CPU, according to the AnTuTu test results
According to recent benchmark tests, the A 16 Bionic can outperform its competition in single-core and multi-core operations. But according to the latest AnTuTu benchmark numbers, the GPU on the SoC bests the A15 Bionic CPU. A 28 percent performance gain over the last two generation CPUs.
I posted a graph provided by AnTuTu, giving a complete breakdown of the performance of each component. Regarding the A16 Bionic, the published scores are 246,572 points. However, the GPU that's some silicon scored 408,623 points. Compared to the iPhone 13 Pro Max, which features the A15 Bionic, it achieves 214,394 points CPU test and 318,962 on the GPU benchmark.
So what we have here is something rather unusual where a GPU outperforms the CPU in the last Gen device. A testament to how well constructed the A 16 Bionic chip is.
