Let's unpack Samsung's Unpacked Event revealing a slew of products

Staying true to company tradition, Samsung held its annual Unpacked Event today, which takes place in February, revealing several devices that included the Event's star, the new Samsung Galaxy Series smartphones. However, for those who were pressed for time and didn't get a chance to view Samsung's live-stream Event, we've got you covered; here are some of the products revealed.

The high-end Galaxy Book3 Ultra laptop

I forgot Samsung also manufactures laptops, so it threw me for a loop when it unveiled the new Galaxy Book3 Ultra. So you know, anytime you get Ultra attached to a branded product, you should expect the device to be high-end. Samsung has creatives and consummate professionals in mind when they produce the Galaxy Book3 Ultra. Featuring top-tier hardware that includes an Intel Core i7 or i9 processor and Nvidia RTX 4050 or 4070 GPU—and a 16-inch 2880 x 1800 120Hz OLED display. What stands out is not the hardware; though impressive, it's the design. It's thin at just a half-inch thick, weighing a mere 3.9 pounds.

The Galaxy Book3 Ultra starts at $2,399.99. Yes, I know, it has an ultra price tag. Anyway, as of now, there is no confirmed release date, yet.

The Galaxy Book3 Pro and 3 Pro 360

Adding to the laptop lineup, Samsung also unveiled the Book3 Pro and Book3 Pro 360. You have varying measurements with these devices in 14-inch and 16-inch; the Book3 Pro 360 alone comes in 16-inch variations. Both devices feature upgraded Intel 13th Gen processors. Like the Galaxy Book3 Ultra, both devices will have the same 2880 x 1800 120Hz AMOLED display.

Pricing goes as follows, the Book3 Pro starts at $1449.99, while the Book3 begins at $1,899.99. Preorders for the devices have now started, and we have a confirmed shipping date of February 17th.

The new Galaxy s23 and S23 Plus

Now we're getting to the highly anticipated Galaxy s23 series smartphones and starting with Samsung's Galaxy s23 and s23 Plus. Both smartphones replace the camera bump, having a refine floating design, and there are now more color options. Regarding hardware, there are upgrades to the battery, camera, and Qualcomm chipset featuring Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor.

The Galaxy s23 Ultra

The Samsung Galaxy s23 Ultra comes with incremental upgrades that are still significant. You now have a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip, a more efficient display that will be less taxing on the battery, and a 200-megapixel camera sensor. As a first option, you will now get 256GB of storage with the base model s23 Ultra.

The start price for the s23 Ultra is $1,999.99 Same as last year’s s22 Ultra. Consumers can now preorder the smartphone, and shipping will take place on February 17th.
