Corsair launches their 192GB DDR5 Ram kit retailing for $730

Corsair has become the official memory used in my PC builds; from my experience alone, the RAM is one of the best in the market regarding overall performance and stability. So when the company unveiled its 192GB  ( 4x 48GB) memory kit, it got attention from each pundit, such as myself. The memory kit retails for $749.99. In addition, Corsair also launched a high-speed DDR5-7000 C 40 48GB (2x24GB) kit for $284.99.

Weeks prior, Corsair released 24GB and 48GB memory kits. However,  those memory modules do not have fast frequency speeds. Speaking of which, the Corsair Vengeance 48GB DDR5 memory kit is a 7000 MHz frequency speed; as stated earlier, it retails for $284.99, adding  RGB illumination, and less than $10 for the non-RGB version.

Regarding memory timing, the Corsair 48GB version features 40-52-52-114 timing, and the required voltage is 1.4V. The timings are not ideal compared to most memory kits on the market. For example, higher-end DDR5-7000 memory kits generally have a Cas Latency (CL)  of about 34 or 36. But you have to untie memory timings for high frequency and storage capacity.

Corsair's new high-capacity memory kits are explicitly made for Intel processors, which explains support for XMP 3.0. Optimal performance can be achieved if the 192GB memory kit is paired with the latest Raptor Lake and Alder Lake processors.

If you purchase these memory kits, ensure you have a DDR5-compatible motherboard.
