Confirm Leaks: A retail outlet reveals AMD Radeon RX 7600 graphics card ahead launch date

I’m noticing a trend with hardware managing to find itself at some retail outlet before an official launch date. The latest hardware to buck that trend is AMD's Radeon RX 7600. According to two reports, the graphics card was shipped to several retailers overseas before the GPU launch date. In addition, we also have leaked information on the box regarding the hardware specification of the RX 7600. It will have 8GB of memory, 32 CUs, and 2048 cores. Reports also confirm a May 26th launch date.

This information coincides with previous rumors that the RX 7600 will be revealed at the annual Computex event, starting May 30th. However, according to new reports, the RX 7600 will launch a day earlier if AMD doesn't adjust the launch date.

I mentioned the information on this graphics card comes from two reports, including an AIB partner model featuring the Sapphire RX 7600 Pulse. The website VideoCardz, reveals a detailed picture of a box confirming the card's hardware specifications; it will have 8GB of memory, 32 CUs, 2048 cores, and a 32MB infinity cache. Unfortunately, there is no actual image of a graphic card itself. If you observe the picture closely, the box appears to be small. A clear indication that the graphics card is small and compact. Based on the overall specs of the card, competitively, it's comparable to Nvidia's RTX 3060.

The price of the graphics card varies between both reports; one source has the card retail at just $249, based on an industry insider. However, the other information from @harukaze5719's Twitter handle shows the 7600 pre-order retail price of $545 in Singapore currency, which equates to $411 US. The legitimacy of these two prices remains to be seen. The RTX 4060 pending launch is in July, with AMD taking the lead first in the mid-range market with the RX 7600. The battle for market domination between these two companies will be very interesting in the coming months.
