Mobile Android and iOS Devices Will Soon Have Bing Widgets With AI Features

According to the company, Microsoft has just announced that extensive updates will "deliver new AI innovation" across various Microsoft apps, such as Bing, Edge, SwiftKey, and Skype. The launch is set to be a significant introduction to Bing Widget. The home screen UI widget will soon be infused into Android and iOS, getting a head start over Google, which is also integrating AI into several of its platforms.

Microsoft states in this week's quote, "the Bing experience on both the desktop and mobile will get much richer" unquote. In addition, search IPs will start offering videos, Knowledge Cards, graphs, better formatting, and social sharing capabilities, all taking place within a chat widget.

The new Bing widget will check for timely information at first glance, interacting with Bing's AI via typing or voice ( activated microphone). In addition, users can launch the full Bing app from the widget, depending on the desired use.

Swift-Key, a popular soft-keyboard functionality, will extend beyond its core featured spell-checking, aiding content, message tone, format, and length. In addition, the new AI feature will be built into the SwiftKey keyboard under the Bing button.

Edge mobile web browser users have several interesting AI additions. Starting with Bing AI will provide contextual answers based on web pages users visit, giving examples of viewed recommendations of win recipes. Regarding Skype, AI will be available in all group chats. Users can summon assistance within discussions by tagging @Bing directly.

The company is expected to make more big announcements regarding Bing AI at the Build developer's conference next week.
