The Gadget pick of the week goes to Dell's 24-inch FHD 75Hz monitor, which is also the best deal on any monitor on the market—by far the cheapest monitor from Dell to date, discounted for just $109 at the time of this writing. Despite the cheap price tag, the monitor has attractive features and meets AMD FreeSync requirements.
The Dell S2421HS monitor measures 24 inches across diagonally and uses an IPS panel with an FHD resolution that delivers 1920 x 1080 pixels. You won't find the high-end specs with the monitor's low price point. However, its 99% screen coverage of the sRGB color gamut is the most attractive quality. The maximum brightness level is just 250 nits, which is not ideal if you place this monitor in a brightly lit area.
The monitor has a refresh rate peak at 75Hz and a 4ms response time. The low refresh rate may deter avid gamers from purchasing this monitor. But it does feature FreeSync technology, making it adequate for gameplay. You get the standard HDMI and DisplayPort inputs of your choice regarding video input. For external audio peripherals, you get a 3.5mm audio jack.
