Nvidia rtx 4060 will launch earlier than expected, June 29 instead of July

Nvidia has now changed its launch date for its affordable $299 graphics card. The RTX 4060 new launch date is June 29 instead of July. Much earlier than expected.

Quietly Nivida updated its RTX 4060 series webpage, displaying the new release date. Evidence of changed dates can be viewed on several web publications. It's worth noting the GeForce RTX 4060 TI  was revealed at the same time as the 4060, but there are no changes to the launch date, which is July.

The RTX 4060 will likely be the most sort after graphics card, mainly because of its $299 price tag. Now if you haven't been in tune with what's happening in the graphic card industry, you should know sales of desktop graphics cards have alarmingly declined—the worst in decades. From a perspective, it's a combination of inflated prices and lower-than-expected performance. However, Nvidia is banking on a successful launch of the RTX 4060. In hopes, this could boost consumer purchases.

The RTX 4060 graphics card core features are Nvidia's new DLSS 3 technology and a slew of software features. However, affordable pricing with any hardware comes with compromise. In this case, the RTX 4060 has an 8GB GDDR6  compared to the 4060 TI, which has 16GB. The RTX 4069 will also have less bandwidth than its predecessor, with a 128-bit memory interface, down from the 192-interface in the RTX 3060.

Positive performance reviews of the RTX 4060 will determine whether or not it will be an easy sale for consumers. Is anyone of you readers planning on purchasing the RTX 4060? Or thinking about it? Comment on the box below.
