Editors Pick of The Week; Asus Zenbook S 13 OLED
What's so fascinating about the ultra-thin laptops on the market is how manufacturers managed to cram spec 'd-out hardware in such a thin, light design. Every since the Macbook Air's inception to the market, we've seen a bevy of Windows-based laptops mimic the Air's ultra-thin design. Some models are better than what Apple has to offer. The Asus Zenbook S 13 OLED is an ultra-thin laptop with impeccable hardware, features, and my Editor's Pick of The Week.
Inside the ZenBook S13 thin unibody is some serious hardware. This laptop has a 13th Gen Intel Core i7-1355U processor, 32GB 5,200MHz LPDDR5 (onboard) RAM, and 1TB PCIe 4.0 x4 NVMe M.2 SSD. There are three selling point features on this laptop. Firstly, you have the certified Harman Kardon Dolby Atmos built-in dual speakers—Asus AiSense camera, which features FHD 3DNR IR with ambient light and color sensor. And the third selling point feature is the 13.3-inch 2880 x 1800 display.
Externally, Asus ZenBook has all the standard ports you’ll find on a high-end laptop, featuring two Thunderbolt 4 USB-C with complete charging (5-20V), one USB 3.2 Gen Type-A, and one HDMI 2.1. Even though this particular laptop features Bluetooth 5.2, there is one combo audio jack. The 63W lithium battery should give users at least 24 hours of power on a single charge.
Interestingly, the Asus ZenBook S13 retails for $1,399 on Best Buy's website. The price might seem expensive to some, but this is fair, considering what this laptop offers.
