Rumors have it The iPhone 15 will have a Thinner Bezel and USB-C
Where are just two months away from Apple's official announcement of the iPhone 15, and already there are published rumored features on the device from industry insiders. Some of these rumored features likely, legitimately, will come to fruition.
Let's begin discussing how the new lineup of iPhone 15 will have a thinner bezel. I'm unsure if the iPhone 15 and 15 Plus will receive a thinner bezel. The Pro models alone bezels will be as thin as 1.5mm. Published rumors suggest Apple wants to implement a curved design to the iPhone 15 devices. The curvature design will be applied to the side frame, curving inward as it directly goes to the back of the smartphone (shaped like the "letter J"). Industry insiders are suggesting that Apple is keeping the consumers in mind, offering comfortability when held in the hand while scrolling.
A unique feature of the Pro model iPhone 14 is the Dynamic Island. This feature incorporates a motioned notch on top of the display that delivers notifications to the wielder of the smartphone. According to the rumors, Dynamic Island will be available on all the iPhone 15 models; even the base models will have access to this feature.
The most significant and welcome update to the iPhone 15 will be the long-awaited USB-C port, which will replace the often polarized Lighting port. Consumers will now have rapid data transfer and fast charging. With significant change comes reason. The change comes after the European Union passed regulations that require all manufacturers to transition to USB-C. The latest iPad Air and iPad Pro have already switched to USB-C.
Apple is expected to add new colors to the lineup, and there will be a more significant camera bump on the iPhone 15 Pro Max. The expected color offerings are Midnight, Starlight, PRODUCT RED, a shade of Pink, and a shade of blue. Rest assured, there will be more rumors as we closely approach the iPhone 15 official launch date. Stay tuned.
