Ahead of NVIDIA's 4060 June 29th launch date, AMD drops the price on Radeon RX 7600 graphics card

In a strategic move by AMD, they have just reduced the price of the RX 7600 graphics card to $249. Why is it a keen move, you ask? Because the price drop coincidentally is happening right before NVIDIA's 4060 launches, set to take place on June 29th.

The price reduction for AMD Radeon RX 7600 was discovered in several European stores, a 13% reduction from MSRP. However, leaked benchmark tests reveal the RX 7600 lags slightly behind the RTX 4060 in raytracing performance. Even though the RTX 4060 has a $299 MSRP, many believe consumers will lean towards purchasing the RX 7600—still, DLSS 3.0 and RT may be the primary selling point with consumers.

Along with the reduced pricing of the RX 7600, there are lower prices on the last-Gen RX 6650 XT, offering mirroring performance as the 7600. In addition, the Radeon RX 7900 XTX and 7900 XT graphics cards are seeing the same price reduction at various retail outlets.
